Building a People of Power

For I'm building a people of power
And I'm making a people of praise,
That will move through this land by My Spirt,
And will glorify My precious Name.

Build your Church, Lord
Make us strong, Lord
Join our hearts, Lord, through Your Son.
Make us one, Lord, in Your Body.
In the Kingdom of Your Son

D. Richards

You Shall Go Out With Joy

You shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace,
And the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you,
There'll be shouts of joy and the trees of the field
Shall clap, shall clap their hand
And the trees of the field shall clap their hands,
And the trees of the field shall clap their hands
And you'll go out with joy

Colours of Day

Colours of day dawn into the mind
The sun has come up, the night is behind.
Go down in the city, into the street,
And lets give the message to the people we meet

So light up the fire and let the flame burn
Open the door, let Jesus return
Take seeds of his spirit, let the fruit grow,
Tell the people of Jesus, let his love show.

Go through the park, on into the town,
The sun still shines on, it never goes down.
The light of the world is risen again,
The people of darkness are needing our friend.

So light up the fire and let the flame burn
Open the door, let Jesus return
Take seeds of his spirit, let the fruit grow,
Tell the people of Jesus, let his love show.

Open your eyes, look into the sky,
The darkness has come, the sun came to die.
The evening draws on, the sun disappears,
But Jesus is living and his Spirit is near.

Spanish Lords Prayer

Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos
Santificado sea tu nombre
Amen

Galatians 5:19-25

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity, idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealously, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, envying, murder, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit.

How Great Thou Art

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

And when I think of God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And lead me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, with humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

Holes in the Floor of Heaven

One day shy of 8 years old, grandma passed away.
I was a broken hearted little boy, blowin out that birthday cake.
How I cried when the sky let go, with a cold and lonesome rain,
Momma smiled said dont be sad child, Grandma's watchin you today.

Cos there holes in the floor of heaven and her tears are pourin down
thats how you know she's watchin, wishing she could be here now.
and sometimes if your lonely, just remember she can see,
there's holes in the floor of heaven, and she's watchin over you and me.

Season's come and seasons go, nothing stays the same.
I grew up , fell in love , met a girl who took my name.
Year by Year, made a life in this sleepy little town.
I thought we'd grow old together , Lord I sure do miss her now!

But there's holes in the floor of heaven, and her tears are pourin down.
Thats how you know she's watchin , wishing she could be here now.
And sometimes when i'm lonely, I remember she can see,
there's holes in the floor of heaven, and she's watchin over you and me.

Well my little girl's 23, I walk her down the aisle,
Its a shame her mom can't be here now, to see her lovely smile.
They throw the rice, I catch her eye, as the rain starts comin down.
She takes my hand says daddy dont be sad, cos I know mommas watchin now.

And there's holes in the floor of heaven, and her tears are pourin down.
thats how you know she's watchin , wishin she could be here now.
And sometimes when i'm lonely, i remember she can see,
Yes, there's holes in the floor of heaven , and she's watchin over you and me.

Don't Laugh at Me

Don't laugh at me
Don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
In God's eyes we're all the same
Someday we'll all have perfect wings

Debt

Jesus paid a debt he did not owe
Because we owed a debt that we could not pay

Your Love Is Amazing

Your love is amazing
Steady and unchanging
Your love is a mountain
Firm beneath my feet
Your love is a mystery
How you gently lift me
When I am surrounded
Your love carries me

Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, Your love makes me sing
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, Your love makes me sing

Your love is surprising
I can feel it rising
All the joy that's growing
Deep inside of me
Everytime I see you
All your goodness shines through
And I can feel this God song
Rising up in me

God is a Jaffa Cake?

Think of God like a jaffa cake:
The biscuit is the Father.
The orange is the Son.
The chocolate is the Holy Spirit.
The three together make the jaffa cake; the Holy Trinity

Matthew 6:25

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds in the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

(New International Version)

You Are Who You Are For A Reason

You are who you are for a reason
You're part of an intricate plan.
You're a precious and perfecft unique design
Called God's special woman or man

You look like you look for a reason
Our God made no mistake.
He knit together within the womb
You're just what he wanted to make.

The parents you had were the ones he chose
And no matter how you may feel
They were custom designed with God's plan in mind
And they bear the Master's seal.

No, that trauma you faced was not easy
And God wept that it hurt you so
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you'd grow

You are who you are for a reason
You've been formed by the Master's rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
Because there is a God!

Modern Language Lord's Prayer

God in heaven, you're our Dad.
We respect everything you stand for,
We want others to.
Please bring heaven on earth.
People living life your way, like the angels do.
Please bring us what we need to keep us going each day.
Please acquit us, as we cancel our grievances and throw them all away.
Please pull us back from the edge of evil,
If we're falling or being thrown,
Cos you're all that matters,
You're able to do it and you're to take the credit.
You're on your own.
It's your throne.
Absolutely!
